With an over all width of just 63cm the Garden SC6365EV  is designed with smaller gardens in mind and handles perfectly, even in the most restricted areas. Powered by a reliable Stiga Series 5500 engine which has a Variator transmission giving infinitely variable forward and reverse speeds. A powerful 63cm working width cutter deck ensures perfect grass cutting and collection whatever the conditions. The large 140 litre grass collector can be emptied from the driving seat or removed to tip on top of a compost heap. Stiga lawn tractors are extremely versatile machines, they can collect the grass clippings or rear discharge them, and they can also mulch and recycle your grass!!

Mulching grass is a great feature. It saves so much time and cutting the lawn can be more than 30% quicker as there is no need to stop to empty clippings which results in a significant fuel saving. You may well ask, “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!” Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting. Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t carry them inside, then they use the mulching facility on all the other areas.

Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple and takes less than a minute. To mulch just remove the collector, insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector. To return to collection simply reverse the procedure. Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose by forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will notice a marked improvement in your grass as this natural fertiliser takes effect over the course of the cutting season.
